I’ve recently taken up an interest towards wire crafts, and absolutely love doing them. I am so excited! Ok, Ok, let’s get into it.

Yes! These  cuties are what you’ll be making.

Supplies Needed:

18 gauge and up size jewelry wire (Just make sure the wire will fit into your bead once doubled)

Beads (Any kind you like, just make sure your wire fits through the hole of the bead once doubled)

Hemostat or Round Nose Pliers

Wire Cutters

Large Knitting Needle or Fat Marker

To Start:

Our first step will be to cut your piece of wire. If you have a fairly fat bead  I find 2 1/2″ works best. If you have a smaller bead 1″ or  1 1/2″ works well. Once you have cut your wire, slide your bead onto the wire. Using your Round Nose Pliers or fingers round the wire so it overlaps slightly  (don’t go over the width of your bead) like so.

Now slide the bead on over the overlapping wire like so.

Quickly and carefully twist the wire, so your bead will be snug in place. You can twist it again, or leave it with only one twist, the choice is yours.

Now to shape your stitch marker to be rounded, slide your fat marker or large knitting needle through the loop. Like so.

That’s it! Make as many as you want, I like to use a few of the same beads to make a set.
